Anxiety seized inhabitants of Jalingo, Taraba state capital, on Friday night when an explosion rattled the city.
The explosion was reported in the Nukkai axis, which borders the Ardo-Kola local government region of the state, where the identical explosion was witnessed three days before.
This occurred while the entire town was in darkness owing to a power failure.
While specifics concerning this explosion remain hazy, it has been learned that no lives were lost.
According to an unsubstantiated claim from a person close to the scene, numerous individuals were injured.
It was also reported that the incident occurred near the Ward Head’s residence, where there is a local bar, and that the blast’s aftermath caused breaches in the walls of buildings on the site.
