The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) disqualified two of the 17 presidential hopefuls it vetted on Friday in Abuja.
Senator David Mark, Chairman of the Screening Committee, revealed this to press shortly after the procedure concluded at Legacy House in Abuja at 7 p.m.
He, however, declined to provide the identity of those who were disqualified or the grounds for their rejection.
Mark simply noted that the aspirants did not meet the requirements.
The Chairman also affirmed that the report of Friday’s screening will be transmitted to the PDP National Working Committee for consideration tonight.
