Godwin Emefiele, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, has publicly declared his desire to run for President of Nigeria.
Mr Emefiele made the announcement after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja.
He informed State House media that he was leaving the villa to pick his N100 million nomination form for the incumbent All Progressives Congress (APC).
Many Nigerians have criticized Mr Emefiele’s decision to enter the presidential campaign.
