The Supreme Court is now primed and ready to rule in a legal tussle between Rivers and Imo states over ownership of 17 oil wells in their disputed territories.
Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, who presided over a panel of justices, set today as the deadline for a definitive ruling following the acceptance of final written addresses by the counsel.
The matter is number ten on the cause list which has 21 appeals for judgments.
At the time of this report, top officials of Rivers State Government including two Commissioners had arrived the apex court for the make or mar landmark judgment.
