Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has declared his intention to leave the club this summer, amid interest from Barcelona.
Lewandowski stated that his time at Bayern Munich is up, and that the Bundesliga champions will not keep him beyond this summer.
The Polish Football Star will enter the final year of his contract with Bayern Munich next month and has stated that he does not want to sign an extension because he wants to leave the club and try himself elsewhere.
“My era at Bayern is over. I don’t see any possibility to continue playing for this club anymore,” Lewandowski was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying.
“Bayern’s a serious club and I believe they won’t keep me, I don’t want to play there anymore. A transfer is the best solution. I hope they don’t stop me.”
